Senior Executive—Digital Innovation, Strategy and Architecture

Strategy & Enterprise Architecture:

  • Executed proofs-of-concepts for strategic enterprise capabilities, and built business cases. Executed projects successfully (e.g. Intelligent Search project: cut costs by over $10m a year.)
  • Developed multiple long-term (3, 5, 10 years) strategy papers for emerging technologies that are relevant to the business.
  • Ensured that enterprise standards are adhered to as part of the governance review team.
  • Conducted an Application Rationalization Study to assess the company’s application landscape and prepare for a rationalization exercise.
  • Team member for annual development of a 5-year Technology Masterplan.

Innovation:

  • Core member of Innovation Management team that established the Brilliant Minds platform. Ran regular innovation programs. Managed ideas, campaigns, and maintained the innovation pipeline.
  • Leader of Maker Labs, a program designed to nurture maker culture within the organization.
  • Lead a team to establish the use of drones for asset inspections and maintenance, reducing risk to human life and cutting costs by up to 70%.

Founder

  • An independent, non-profit organization that I founded to spread scientific literacy both online and offline.
  • Organized and conducted monthly events that are open to the public for free. Each event began with a screening of a scientific documentary, followed by a discussion, and ending with a telescope-assisted stargazing session.
  • Ran online advertising campaigns to attract attendees, and regularly produced content to engage the community.
  • Occasionally participated in events organized by the Ministry of Science as a volunteer astronomer, and gave talks on astronomy at private functions.
